On Sunday, April 9, 2017, the Redwood Empire Optometric Society will host the 3rd REOS Wine Country CE, an exceptional symposium with Alan Kabat, OD, FAAO at the Vintners Inn in Santa Rosa California. Enjoy great food and wine in a beautiful wine country setting while enhancing your professional knowledge and connecting with colleagues and industry representatives. Six hours of COPE-approved education will be offered! Topics include biologic medications, demodex, ocular complications of systemic medications and an ocular disease grand rounds. In order to maintain a strong profile in the Capitol, doctors of optometry must be able to elect and support those who promote the profession of optometry in the Legislature.
In that effort, COA will be hosting a fundraising event benefiting the California Optometric Association Political Action Committee – Cal-OPAC. This fun VIP Brewery Tour, to be held in Sacramento on November 5, 2016, will include stops at three breweries, with lunch being served at one of them, as well as tastings on the bus.

We've gathered an exceptional group of clinicians and researchers to speak at our two-day conference. You can join us for Saturday or Sunday, or make it a weekend and come to both days!

Topics will include Ebola and other rare viruses, viral keratitis management, autofluorescence, multispectral imaging, key oral medications in eye care and managing high IOP.
