BAOC views itself as an excellent source for sharing information about what each of the Bay Area Optometric Societies are doing; what issues, be they legislative or professional concern affecting the profession and its patients. And as such, BAOC is increasingly aware of the need to share the successes of each of its member societies and offer them as resources and contact information with each other.
It is in this spirit that the BAOC Board meets quarterly to share ideas and concerns that will give member Societies the tools they need to achieve excellence in member benefits. From legislative advocacy, continuing education opportunities, networking, and sharing its best practice tools, the BAOC continues in its mission to serve its membership as an informational and networking resource.
