A few updates from SCCOS:

Winter event: Save the Date for December 5, 2015 Citrus at Hotel Valencia, Time and Fees TBD. Details to Follow.

Young ODs: September 15th at the Capitol Club in San Jose with Dr. Dessouki from Retinal Diagnostic Center. The planned topic is “new treatments for diabetic macular edema.” RSVP: http://youngod.sccos.org
General Meeting: September 17th at David's Banquet & Conference Center with Dr. Green on "Allergic Eye Disease." RSVP: http://events.sccos.org

SCCOS celebrated our annual summer picnic on July 19th, 2015 at Ortega Park in Sunnyvale. Over 110 people attended, including members, recent optometry school graduates, prospective members, students, sales representatives, and their families. Attendees dined on freshly made tacos, nachos, and churros at the fiesta. The kids enjoyed the jump house, the playground, and the water play area at the park. We had a great raffle with $200 in Amazon cards, an Apple TV, and Beats by Dre headphones. Some of our winners were Anita Gor, Mark Ichikawa, Audrey Louie, and Alex Chow. Thank you to those who attended, it was great to see everyone over the summer break.
