SCCOS Holiday Party Recap

The 2015 SCCOS holiday party was held at Citrus inside the Hotel Valencia on Santana Row. The Social Committee was very pleased to be able to make this swanky event free for our members this year!  We had a great society turnout and reached maximum capacity. The party featured a delicious menu handpicked for us by Dr. Taylor Tran that included sushi, prime rib and desserts! 

After some lively black jack gaming we raffled over $300 in gift cards, with our grand prizes including a GoPro and a complementary stay at the Hotel Valencia.  Thanks for closing out another great year with our society. Wishing you all a healthy, happy 2016!

• SCCOS celebrated our annual summer picnic on July 19th, 2015 at Ortega Park in Sunnyvale. Over 110 people attended, including members, recent optometry school graduates, prospective members, students, sales representatives, and their families. Attendees dined on freshly made tacos, nachos, and churros at the fiesta. The kids enjoyed the jump house, the playground, and the water play area at the park. We had a great raffle with $200 in Amazon cards, an Apple TV, and Beats by Dre headphones. Some of our winners were Anita Gor, Mark Ichikawa, Audrey Louie, and Alex Chow. Thank you to those who attended, it was great to see everyone over the summer break.
