Full-Time or Part-Time Position:
Group practice located in the Northern California wine country city of Ukiah, California in Mendocino County.  Our practice serves a diverse patient base covering a wide age group from pediatric to geriatric care.  Doctors focus on Primary Care Optometry and specialize in Contact Lenses, ocular disease evaluation/treatment and Lasik co-management.  The doctors work closely with area primary care doctors and local county wide rural clinics for providing vision care in a mutual referral system.  The office is equipped with modern examination and evaluation equipment including Fundus Camera, OCT, and Visual Field testing.  A large optical area located within the office provides full optical services to our patient base and walk-in optical sales and repairs.

Job Description:
Full-time or Part-time Optometrist wanted for busy and growing private practice in Northern California.  Seeking energetic, motivated professional optometrist to provide personable and quality care to a diverse patient base.  Basic optometric eye exam in Spanish a plus.  Doctor needs good communication skills and able to work in a busy environment with staff.  Excellent opportunity for individual interested in private practice setting with future patient base growth.  New grads welcome to apply to listing.
 
Qualifications:
CA. O.D. license, prefer 1+ year experience and/or residency
Ability to diagnose, treat and manage anterior and posterior segment conditions
Ability to fit specialty CL’s, (scleral, RGP)
Excellent patient communication with welcoming patient skills
Ability to co-manage refractive and cataract surgery patients
Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect well with patients
Exceptional attention to detail
