Open Position: Full-Time Optometrist (Albany, CA)

Full-Time position:
Beautifully designed and equipped clinic in a well-established community-oriented private practice in Albany, CA. Solano EyeCare has been a part of the Albany/Berkeley community for over 40 years and we take pride in being there throughout our patients’ lives. We serve our patients vision and eye-health needs with a patient-first approach, understanding that we are in the business of long-term eyecare. Our healthcare is second to none, and our optical boutique is full of high quality independent lines so our patients always get the best service and products. We also offer the latest FDA approved IPL/RF therapy to address the dry eye needs of our community. Our highly coordinated and experienced team rallies to solve our patients’ vision needs, working with our doctors for a complete and top quality 360 degree experience. This is a full-time position offering 4 or 5 days per week per candidate preference. Our clinic is open Mondays 11-7 and Tues thru Saturdays 9-5.  All days with a 1 hour lunch.11-14 exams per day: Comprehensive routine or Medical visits.  
Full support of optometric tech for work ups. 
  
Highly competitive compensation structure and benefits package:  
$550-$600 base per diem based on experience + unlimited quarterly production bonus (includes purchased glasses and cl’s) (averaging $700-$800+ per diem)

License fee 
CE /travel stipend 

Qualifications:
CA. O.D. license with TLG certification, prefer 2+ year experience and/or residency
Ability to diagnose, treat and manage anterior and posterior segment conditions
Ability to fit specialty CL’s (orthoK, scleral, GP)
Ability to perform IPL/RF/Optilift/ Trilift treatments for dry eye - (or eagerness to learn) 
Excellent “chairside” demeanor 
Available to work 2 Saturdays/month 
Ability to co-manage refractive and cataract surgery patients
Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect well with patients
Exceptional attention to detail
