Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate optometrist for a part-time, on site role, with growth potential. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated doctor seeking a flexible schedule within a thriving private practice. The doctor will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat eye conditions, prescribe appropriate corrective lenses or treatments and provide pre- and post-operative care. Responsibilities also include educating patients about their eye health, recommending preventative measures, and maintaining accurate patient records. A commitment to delivering high-quality care and building trusted relationships with patients is essential for this position.
 
Qualifications
·       Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
·       Therapeutic certification and licensure to practice optometry in the state of California
·       Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and interpreting diagnostic tests
·       Ability to diagnose and treat common eye conditions and prescribe corrective lenses
·       Strong patient care and communication skills to explain procedures and findings clearly
·       Commitment to staying updated on advancements in optometric technologies and treatments
·       Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills
·       Experience in a clinical or retail optometry setting is a plus
·       Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effective with staff
