From an OD in Sunnyvale in the last week of June 2015.

We had 5 designer frames missing after this person. He is an African American male, dark skin tone, about 6 ft tall, he was wearing a t-shirt with a big "X" on the back and light colored jeans and black sunglasses.

From talking to other staff, it might had been a second visit by the same shoplifter.  He was telling similar things and had similar pattern on both visits. 

The person didn't park in front of the office  even though we had spaces. He came saying that he came to buy sunglasses for his wife.  On first visit, he said it was for his girl friend who worked in the same plaza.  He asked if we can fix a broken Rayban sunglasses.  He asked for quotes on photochromic and polarization on plano lenses.  He showed a roll cash saying that he had money to buy. 

The Sunnyvale practice of Dr. Beth Browdy, O.D. was also burglarized recently.  Most of the items taken were women's frames, notably designer plano sunglasses and high end designer frames.  Be sure to set your alarms and security.  For additional information, please contact Dr. Browdy, O.D. at (408) 738-2020.

The Sunnyvale office of Dr. Athena Reyes, O.D. was robbed in October by two women pretending to look at sunglasses. They walked off with two pairs of Ferragamos. 

The description of these women is: Two African American women in their late 20's/early 30's, both approximately 5'7'' tall, 150 lbs, one with red streaked hair, in a black Mercedes.
