Solano Eye Specialists is seeking a full-time or part-time Optometrist to join our busy Ophthalmology practice. We have two locations in Vacaville and Fairfield, CA. Solano Eye Specialists has been in practice for over 25 years, serving a very diverse medical-based population. Alongside our ophthalmologist, Dr. Sandler, our optometrists practice full-scope medical based eye care. The optometrist's role includes the management of diabetic screenings, glaucoma, cataract referrals, anterior segment pathology including but not limited to corneal ulcers, foreign body removals, herpetic eye disease, and keratoconus. In addition to medical exams, the role includes performing comprehensive vision insurance exams and specialty contact lens fittings. Our clinic is fully equipped with fundus photography, OCT, and corneal topography instruments.   

The optometrist receives full technician support, with technicians performing a thorough work-up of all patients and all diagnostic imaging.  

Business hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm. NO Saturdays or on-call duties.
