OPEN POSITION: Full/Part-Time Optometrist (Albany/Berkeley, CA)

Join our new beautifully designed and equipped office in a well-established community-oriented private practice on a full or part-time basis (Mon-Sat).

We are seeking a skilled and personable Optometrist interested in developing a lasting relationship with our community. Our practice has been a part of the Albany/Berkely community for nearly 40 years and we take pride in being there throughout our patients’ lives. We serve our patients vision and eye-health needs with a customer-first approach, understanding that we are in the business of long-term eyecare. Our healthcare is second to none, and our optical boutique is full of quality independent frames, so our patients always get the best service and products. We also offer the latest FDA approved IPL therapy to address the dry eye needs of our community. Our highly coordinated and experienced team rallies to solve our patients’ vision needs, working with our doctors for a complete and top quality 360 degree experience. Qualifications:

• CA. O.D. license with TLG certification
• Ability to fit specialty CL’s (orthoK, scleral, GP)
• Ability to diagnose, treat and manage anterior and posterior segment conditions
• Excellent “chairside” demeanor
• Available to work 2 Saturdays/ month
• Ability to co-manage refractive surgery and cataract patients
• Familiarity with Compulink EHR
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail

Compensation:

• Base $450-$550 per diem based on experience + quarterly bonus based on production
• Annual exam + glasses/contacts
