We are an established and growing ophthalmology practice seeking a full-time optometrist to join our group. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist to learn and gain a medical skill set by working directly with our ophthalmologists. Our clinic offers diverse experiences for optometrists who want to continuously grow.
This role offers a support staff dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred, but we will train the right candidate with a strong potential and growth mindset for success in the field. Cantonese and/or Mandarin language proficiency is a strong plus. Responsibilities: • Vision exams • Refractions • Contact lens fitting/evaluations (soft and RGP) • Comprehensive medical eye exams • Work closely with ophthalmologist and coverage of medical patients including assisting with cataract consults, refractive surgeries and post-operative care • Work with modern diagnostic technology in order to treat eye disease Education and Certification Requirements: • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program • Active California Optometry License • EMR and computer software literacy • New graduates welcome to apply Compensation: First year guarantee.
